TEXAS STATE FAIR

The State Fair is one of our favorite things about Texas! Unfortunately, we didn't get the best pictures this year. Dresden really got into it this year, his favorites were the bird show, the light parade, and the Big Slide!

First Day of Pre-School!

Dresden started Pre-school this week. He has the same teacher as last year so he was excited to go back and tell Miss Judy all about his summer. When I picked him up he was talking her ear off about his Star Wars toys! Yes, the obsession is still going strong...

We've got a WALKER!

It's official, this one's a WALKER! She has been walking here and there for the past month, but just yesterday she decided it was her preferred choice of travel! She walked all over Chuck E. Cheese's last night and this morning I haven't seen her do anything else but walk everywhere! Her brother, on the other hand, has no interest. The funniest is Ciena will walk next to Coen, who is crawling, pat him on the head and keep walking by! You go girl! I might also note that I WON the bet Chad and I had going. I bet on my girl and she came through!

GOT EM ALL!


WOW, I'm almost emabarrassed to post this! We did NOT eat this many Happy Meals, I purchased almost all of them as the toy alone. Well, we finally finished off the collection. You have no idea how out of controll the obsession got! He literally asked me if we could go to McD's all day from the moment he woke up. Since not every McD's has the same toys I drove all over Dallas trying to find these! Darth Vador and Yoda were the hardest to find, when we came across a McD's that had the last four he needed I bought them all so we could be done! I have to admit the smile on his little face makes it worth it! He really plays with these little toys all day long so in my mind it's worth the 99 cents and miles of gas money trying to find them!

BABY RIDE

This is the babies new favorite thing to do! Dresden pulls them around the backyard in this little wagon (which barely fits the both of them) and they think it's the best ride ever! There is a little hill coming down from the garage and Dre pulls them up it and then lets go, they get going pretty fast and it's so funny to watch their faces! Ciena is all smiles and Coen gets his serious/concerned look. One of my favorite things about the twins is watching them parallel process things and seeing the different reactions, the older they get the more their personalities differ.

SLEEPING

This one is for Grandpa Whitney. Dresden loved wearing his cousin's head light to bed in Lake Powell so Grandpa Whitney gave him money to buy one when we got home. As you can see, he still loves the head light! He will NOT go to be without it on his head!
