A DREAM COME TRUE!

Attending the World Series is one of Chad's life long dreams (along with every other major sporting event) so there was no way he was turning down his brother when he invited him to go to the game. Despite the fact that the Rockies didn't win, Chad still had the best time and Dresden LOVED playing with all his cousins in Colorado.

Matchy, Matchy ...

Chad does not think twins should wear matching outfits, but that takes all the fun out of having twins! This is about as "matchy" as we get - they are pretty darn cute!

Cheese's! Kids can't get enough of this place, here is Dresden with one of his favorite friends Savannah in the car.

3 months...

We made it to the three month mark! Part of me can't believe how fast it's gone, on the other hand I feel like I've been waiting to reach this mile stone forever! Everyone has told me that with twins it gets easier once you hit 3 months. Well, so far there has been no drastic change -- there are still two babies to change, feed, and try to get to nap and sleep through the night! I do feel like I'm learning how to do it all better with time! Below are some common thoughts I've had during these first three months...

1. I don't remember Dresden crying this much... No, he definitely did not cry like this.

2. I can't believe another 3 hours has gone by and it's time to feed these babies again.

3. I may have to get a part time job (or step up Modbe) just to pay for all the diapers! And honestly, yes, it would be so much easier to give the babies formula but from a financial standpoint I better keep nursing!

4. When will the babies start sleeping longer than 3 hour stretches at night! I am beginning to think my eyes will be permanently blood shot from the lack of sleep!

5. Is it time for Chad to come home from work yet?

6. Who's crying now? Oh yes, I forget I have a 3 year old who also needs some attention.

7. I can't believe 2 babies came out of me!
8. Could these babies be any cuter? Their smiles melt my heart.

9. I definitely could not do this without the help of family and friends
10. Chad is amazing, I am so lucky! I don't know how he can be up all night with the babies and still work the hours he does!

11. I can't believe it's been three months and people in the ward are still bringing me meals over and offering to take Dre - we have such amazing friends in Dallas!

12. I am SO blessed!!
