Birthday Weekend in Colorado

Happy 30th to my own twin, Kelly! Not many people get to say they share their exact Birthday (year and everything) with one of their best friends! It was so fun to spend the weekend in Colorado and celebrate with Kelly as we both turned the Big 30! First of all, I'm not sure how to feel about turning 30! I guess when it comes down to it, it is just a number - right?? I don't think turning 30 is going to give me wrinkles, more likely it is going to be my babies who are STILL not sleeping through the night!
Back to the Birthday's ~ Kamilah and I were the "surprise" birthday present for Kelly. The three of us and Jen had a fabulous girls weekend packed with shopping, spa treatments, movies, dinners out, yummy desserts, and hours of girl talk, what could be more fun! Thanks to Chad who had all the kids at his parents while I got to spend 3 days and 2 nights at Kelly's with the girls! A much needed break, though I must say by the 3rd day I was dying to see my babies again! Thanks to Dave, the Lyons, and the Whitney's who all made this amazing weekend possible!

Birthday Party at the Whitney's

I loved sharing a Birthday party with Miranda!

Dresden enjoying a cupcake with his cousins

Anyone who knows the Whitneys can tell you they LOVE to celebrate Birthdays! Between the 7 Whitney children, their spouses, and the 19 grandchildren, there is always a party going on at the Whitney home! I was lucky to share my Birthday party with our cute niece Miranda who turned 7. We had a "Bratz Doll" themed Birthday party, complete with decorations, cupcakes, and of course a pinata!

CHRISTMAS 2007

Christmas this year was a lot of fun, although I am just realizing we did not take many pictures to show it! Dresden really got it this year and was so excited about it all. He loved his gifts from Santa, but his favorite toy was the big train set he got from Mom and Dad and the Little Einstein Rocket from Grandma Whitney. The twins LOVE the gift in the picture about that they got from Grandma and Grandpa Gibson.

Delivering Christmas Sugar Cookies!

On Christmas Eve we had fun making our favorite Christmas Sugar Cookies! We then packed up the kids and delivered the cookies to neighbors on our street.

Where it all started!

I love this picture of the twins with my sweet Grandpa! It was so neat to see Grandpa hold them for the first time, especially since this is where the twins come from in the family. This was a little bit of a flash back for my Grandpa of when he held his own Boy/Girl twins!

TWIN MOMENTS!

I am loving this age where the twins interact with eachother! Notice their hands in the top picture - they always figure out how to hold eachothers hands and once they get a hold they do not let go. The bottom two are of Ciena thoroughly enjoying ... Yes, that is Coen's foot!
