Best of Buds!

To be a twin ... is to have a slumber party with your best friend every nigtht! These two just get closer and closer the older they get. It's been so fun to watch as their friendship develops! Ciena is definitely the dominant personality and loves to boss her brother around. Luckily, Coen's personality is such that he allows her to be bossy and they rarely fight. The picture on the bottom is their current sleeping arrangement! Lately they insist on sleeping together in the same crib. I love to listen at the door and hear them play and giggling until finally it's silent and I check in to see them snuggled up together asleep.

Girlie Girl!

Despite the fact that she likes to eat dirt and ice cream off the ground, Ena is such a girlie girl! She loves putting bows on her head and wearing jewelry. It's so fun having a girl!

Miss you, Dad!

We were all feeling a little sad after Chad left to go back to NY on Sunday so Dresden and I made a little countdown calendar till Dad is back home! We love and miss you Daddy!

Zilker Natural Springs -- Austin

We were so happy to see Daddy this weekend! He flew into Austin and the kids and I drove down to pick him up. We spent the afternoon at the Zilker Park Natural Spring Pools. They were a little mossy (I guess that's where the natural comes in) but for the most part a fun family activity.

What do you do when your ice cream cone falls on the ground?

Get on all fours and start licking it up, of course!!
