We are back from our SLC/Lake Powell trip and we had a great time! It was the best spending time with both of our families! Dresden loves both sets of grandparents so much and he warms up to them so quickly - it's like he knows he fits in and belongs there with them! He also had a blast playing with his cousins; it's so cute to see them interact. Dre loved throwing rocks into the water, riding on the boat, floating in the water, and tubing with Daddy. The highlight of the trip for me was just watching Dresden and seeing his excitment and reaction to everything new around him.

My little guy looks like a todler in these pictures! These will be the last for a few weeks, we are leaving tomorrow for our Salt Lake/Lake Powell trip. I will be sure and update when we get back!
P.S. There were be no High School Reunion for me. It looks like it was cancelled and changed to another date so I won't be able to go. But thank you to everyone who gave me advice on what to do!
Fun with Aunt Kelly!
(The plastic bags on Kelly's feet are because my carpets were just cleaned and were still wet)
Kelly came to visit us in Dallas this last weekend and we had SO much FUN! First of all, Dresden instantly fell in love with her and wanted to be near her at all times. Sunday we took lunch down to the pool and swam for a while. That night we grilled for dinner and afterwards took a walk down to the West Village (outdoor shops/mall across from us). On Monday my friend, Jen, was nice enough to offer to take Dresden for the day so Kelly and I could have a day of shopping. We went to a few different Malls and shops in Dallas and had lunch at one of my fav places (Village Burger Bar). Next thing we knew it was 7:00 PM and time to meet our Husbands for dinner. We ate a Fuse, a delicious new restaurant we recently discovered in downtown Dallas. Today we shopped some more (the picture above is at the original Neiman Marcus) followed by lunch. It was the best having Kelly here and I can't wait for my next visitor (that would be you.... Kamilah)

White Trash Baby!
So we live across the street from some pretty Ritzy apartment buildings and this one has these fun little fountains that Dresden LOVES to play in after hitting golf balls with Daddy. I just get a kick out of the fact that there's all these expensive cars parked out front and people walking in and out dressed nicely, and then there's Dresden! He's running around having the time of his life in his cut-off T-shirt and saggy diaper carrying a plastic golf club! Some might think that's white trash, but who cares I say! It's 100+ degree's out and the kid is having fun so those stuffy poeple can just go about their business and we will play away!

Caught in the ACT!
Much to Daddy's dismay, Dresden in quite intriqued with my make-up and loves to "pretend" to put it on...
Well, on this day he did a little more than pretend! I caught him right as he took the lid off my eyeliner and proceeded to put it on just like Mommy. It was so cute I had to take a picture!
