This was such a fun idea for a party! The idea behind the party was " just because the economy is not the best right now, our looks should not have to suffer!" We each came to the party with two of our favorite drug store beauty products under $15. One item went in a gift basket that was won in a drawing at the end of the night. We played a "White Elephant" game with the other product that turned out to be pretty entertaining! All in all I got some great idea's -- I'll have to post some of them next time. Thanks Leesa for a fun night!

The kids got a surpise Valentine left on the door by Cupid, they loved the candy and suckers! Dresden and I went around to all his friends houses and left Valentine treats. Dre got a kick out of Door Bell ditching, am I the only one who grew up doing this on V-day? I think lots of our friends just thought we were in a hurry and didn't want to stay and talk. Oh-well, it was fun!

We visited the Ft. Worth Stockshow this weekend, which was like a miniature State Fair and a Huge Petting Zoo! We did the rides, picked out a cowboy hat for Dre, ate lots of junk, and saw a TON of farm animals! One of my favorite parts was the Children's Barn area that was filled with farm animals and their babies. The pig above is "Elsie" and she is the mother to 13 little piglets!! Next time I start to think it's tough being a mom to 3, I'll think of Elsie!
I remember seeing children on leashes and thinking, "who does that to their kid??" well, guess what -- I DO! I got these little animal backpack/leashes for the kids and it has made our little outings a lot less stressful. You'd be amazed at how quick these guys can get away and they are ALWAYS headed in opposite directions! So yep, I leash and I'm proud of it!
