This is the classic "first encounter" with Santa Claus picture! The twins loved watching him as we stood in line and were in hysterics as soon as we set them on his lap. Dresden was happy as could be, especially since this was our third attempt to see Santa and we FINALLY made it through the line! I asked Dresden what he told Santa and he said, "that I did good pooping today and I want a Hungry Hippo game," that's my boy!

Christmas Fun!

The past week I tried to pack some Christmas activities in -- Arborretum (on a sunny 70 degree day), Story time with Santa, Christmas Puppet shows, and the Trains (all at Northpark Mall)! Chad and I had a night out without kids at his work Christmas Dinner, and we also had a great time singing Christmas carols and visiting at our friends home Christmas Party.

We are back from our Pre-Christmas trip to see family and friends in Utah. Getting there and back was, to be honest, a nightmare! The twins are at such a busy age and do not understand why they can't run up and down the airplane isle! Despite the difficulty with traveling, it is worth it to see family and friends, especially at Christmas time. Dresden was in complete bliss the entire week playing Kung Fu Panda with his cousins! The twins got to explore new things, and we got to visit with friends and family. Thanks Mom and Dad for helping to get us there, we love you!!

Dresden and Brynli

Dresden had almost forgotten about his little girlfriend in Utah, Brynli (Angi's darling little girl)! When we got the two back together they quickly became best of buds and before we left they were discussing sleepovers!

Grandpa Oliver

The twins with my Grandpa. Ciena instantly went to him and did not want to leave his lap. Coen took a couple of minutes to warm up, but then felt just as comfortable as Ena. Grandpa loves to see them and talk about what it was like when he had his own twins! We love you Gramps!

A short stop in Colorado

We were so excited to see everyone in Colorado! Ciena got to open an early Christmas present from her cousin Carmendi, of course she loved it!

Dresden's Snowman

All Dre wanted to do in Utah was build a snowman and there was not enough snow until the morning we had to leave. Dresden FINALLY got to build his snowman in Colorado at Grandma and Grandpa Whitney's house while we were there on a 5 hour layover! As we were driving away Dresden yelled, " Bye Frostly, hope you come to life!" So cute!
