LOOK WHO JUST TURNED ONE!

Wow, what a year! I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "It gets easier after the first year" so this is definitely a mile stone! When I look back at the last year it seems like it's taken forever and at the same time it's gone by in the blink of an eye! One thing is for sure, I defnintely can't imagine my life without these two precious children - what did I ever do without them!

CIENA, My sweet little Princess . . .

I LOVE this little girl! It has been so much fun having her in our family and we would never be complete without her. She is just the sweetest thing, and she REALLY knows how to melt her Daddy's heart. Ciena is our little smarty pants and catches on quickly to how things work; she really knows how to get what she wants (which is usually anything her brother is playing with). Here are a few of her "Firsts" and "Favorites"
First word: "Ma ma or Da da", it's hard to say what was first because she will repeat any sound she hears. Favorite food: Ice cream, Favorite Toy: She loves stuffed animals and her new little baby doll, Favorite Game: She loves to wrestle with her twin. I put them in the same crib before bed and she just attacks him - it's the cutest thing. We love you Ena girl!

COEN, My little Bear . . .

This little guy definitley has a soft spot in my heart. He has the most personality of all three kids and he really knows how to get his way. He loves to flirt with strangers and knows how to make us laugh, we joke that he is the family clown at the dinner table. A few of his "firsts" and "favorites":
First word: "Da da", Favorite Food: Banana's or Crackers, Favorite Toy: His big brother's trains, Favorite Game: He loves to scrunch his nose and sniff at people till they do it back, he's a real character! We love you Coco Bear!

Twins 1st Birthday Party at the Splash Park!

We had a fun little party for the twins 1st Birthday at the splash park! Coen loved crawling around and playing in the water and Ciena only wanted to walk while holding someone's hand (thank you Sarah)! I made the traditional 1st Birthday Elephant cake and the twins faces were hilarious when we sang to them, it was like they knew exactly what was going on and they loved having all eyes on them! Thanks to all our friends who came to celebrate with us and make it such a special day!

We were lucky to spend the 4th of July with family in Colorado! Dresden and the babies were completely spoiled with attention from all their Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandma and Grandpa, and Mimi! We all had a blast, thanks Grandma and Grandpa Whitney!
