We had a very busy, but fun Memorial weekend. It went something like this: Friday~ water park with friends, Saturday~ party with church friends (swimming, jump house, clowns, volleyball), Sunday~ barbecue at friends and swimming, Monday ~ back to the water park, but this time Dad got to come and it was so much fun! Dresden loves the lazy river! He sits in his own baby tube and we just hold on and float round and round! As you can see we like to swim a lot - there's not much else to do when you live in heat and humidity!!

My first post to the Whitney Family Blog. I've never had a blog before, but thanks to Kamilah she gets me involved in it all! I intend to use the blog to keep family and friends in touch with how our little family is coming along in this big 'ol state of Texas.
I'm sure reading this won't be the most exciting, especially since every day can basically be summed up the same way, "hung out with my best little buddy Dresden." However, with a 19 month old that is learning, changing, and doing new things every day there should always be something fun or funny to report!
Our days lately consist of waking up, watching the "Wiggles", going to the gym (on good days), laying out at the pool, shopping, playing at the park, hanging out with friends, etc. Wow, what a life - right? I must say I am quite lucky to have a husband who works so hard to support us so we can live this way. Well, okay, lets be honest that I do hold down the home front, i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, bills, and MOST important taking care of our little boy. Well, stay tuned and I'll try and keep it interesting!!
