Attack Girl!

Lately Ciena has been attacking her brother! Coen will be sitting there minding his own business and she'll push him down and climb on top of him. The funny thing is Coen likes it and they both start laughing, it's pretty cute!

There's no story with this picture. The three of them are just watching a movie in Dresden's room and I thought it was funny to see them all sitting there like that! It didn't last long, I think Coen fell off his chair and Ciena started carrying hers around the house.

Star Wars . . . again!!

If you are sick of seeing Star Wars on my Blog, I am just as sick of posting about it! Once again, Dresden only wanted to dress up in Star Wars for Halloween. Dresden choose Anakin Skywalker, and of course I had to dress the twins as Luke and Leia. It was near impossible to get a cute picture of the twins in their costumes as they refused to keep the hats on or hold still for a picture. The Darth Maul above is not Chad, but a guy at his work. Dresden is already talking about Yoda for next year . . .

Happy Halloween!

Dresden went Trick-or-Treating with one of his best buddies Savannah! We went to some of the homes in Dallas that go "All out" for Halloween. The kids had to get through a Harry Potter maze at one house to get their candy. The front yard of another house was like a Halloween play yard, the kids thought it was the best ever!

It's about time, Coen! About two and a half months after Ciena, he is off and going!

BOO at the ZOO!

The kids got to dress up and go Trick-or-Treating at the Ft. Worth Zoo. When I told Dresden we were going to Trick-or-Treat at the Zoo he asked, "Well, who is going to be handing out the candy" when I told him the animals handed it out he said very frankly, "I don't think so, Mom!" Can't get anything pass this one anymore!

We loved having Grandma Whitney, Aunt Jenn and cousins here to visit! All Dresden wanted to do was stay at the Great Wolf Lodge so he could play with his cousins! He even had his first sleepover there with everyone. Chad thought for sure we'd get a call at 2 AM to come pick him up, but there was no call and he did great! Hope you guys come back to visit again soon!!

A very rare date night!

I can't remember the last time Chad and I got dressed up to go out, just the two of us! Something we definitely need to make a routine of doing more often!

Dresden's 4th B-day Party!

As you can see, we had a "Star Wars" themed birthday party! Dre keeps telling me how much fun he had, so I guess that means the party was a success! Dresden wanted to wear his Jedi costume and he and all his friends went through a training course to become true Jedis and Princesses!

A New Bike for the B-day Boy!

Chad surprised Dresden with a New bike for his B-day! Coen thinks he's a cool dude in his glasses and taking his Big Brothers new Darth Vador toy!

We thought it would be fun to get some pictures of the twins on this cute little bench, but of course we could NOT get them to sit still for long enough or look at the camera. Oh well, still cute...

Say "Cheese"!

My mom and I took the kids to the Arboretum and tried to get some fun shots of the kids with the pumpkins. I told Dresden to look at the camera and say "cheese" and as soon as I said it Ciena looked right at me and clear as day smiled and said "cheese"! It was hilarious!
