Okay, how cute is their little closet! I will just open it and stare for the longest time - can't wait to meet my baby boy and girl! At this point the Nursery is complete and we are just waiting... Chad never gave me the go ahead on the names (we've mainly been debating his name), but I got sick of waiting so I went ahead and hung them anyway! We are pretty sure it is going to be Cienna and Coen - but nothing is final till it's on the birth certificate!

This last weekend Chad's sister Jill and her husband Ben and their 4 mo. old little girl Betty all came to stay with us! Jill and Ben are thinking they might move to Tyler Texas (about 100 miles away) so they came to check it out! It was great having them here and Dresden got some good "big brother" practice with Baby Betty!

That's right, mama's big and about to burst!! Here is the LAST picture I will probably post because hopefully these kids will be making their arrival soon! And yes, Julie, they do make camera lenses big enough to capture my belly (it's called a wide lense)! Last week I really started to panic because the nursery was not ready and I've heard it's not uncommon to go into labor around 32 wks with twins. SO, I spent the whole week on the nursery and I am happy with the way it turned out! You can see a little shot of baby girl's side of the room, I am still finishing up on his side and when it's done I'll post pictures.

Top 10 ways you know you are about to have a baby (or two)!
Although I am not actually about to have the babies (I have at least 3-7 weeks to go), I look and feel as if I should be giving birth tomorrow! I had another ultrasound today and both babies are weighing in at almost 4 pds. each! It's crazy to think that I already have 8 pds. of baby in me! Here are some of the lovely pregnancy signs that remind me I am nearing the end:
10. Everywhere I go complete strangers make the comment, "you must be due any day"
9. Sleeping is impossible, I get up at least 5 times a night to pee
8. I can't remember the last time I looked down and saw the lower part of my body
7. My belly gets in the way of everything -I burned it on the skillet the other day flipping pancakes
6. I broke out in tears for NO reason at all having a perfectly normal conversation with my husband
5. I almost fall about 5 times a day as my legs go numb from the babies pushing on my sciatic nerve
4. I can get a good 10 hours of sleep at night and still feel like I can take a nap at any point during the day
3. I can't get off the couch without Chad giving me a boost
2. Everyone asks what made me break out in a rash -- it's called the "mask of pregnancy" and it is oh so lovely (can't wait till it's gone)
1. My BACK, oh my back! I feel like an old lady waddling around with my hands on my lower back and looking for the nearest place to sit down
Although it's not always pleasant (especially at this point), I am still constantly reminded of the miracle and blessing it is to carry a child (or children). I feel so lucky and blessed to have had a normal and healthy pregnancy thus far, and I know when I first meet these little babies I will forget about this uncomfortable moment of time!

Seriously, the rain in Texas has been non-stop! Not that I am complaining because at 8 mo. pregnant I would rather have the rain over the Hot and Humid Texas heat! Today since we were inside all day due to the rain, I decided to introduce Dresden to painting. He thought it was fun and it kept him a occupied for a good 15 minutes! This kid can spend hours golfing, playing baseball, and kicking balls around, but he's just not into art and coloring. Oh-well, at least I'm giving him a little exposure to things NOT related to sports.
Also, notice the haircut! As much as it pained me, it was time! My sister did a great job and the curls are definitely still there!

It's been a while since the last post! We have been busy - last week Dresden and I took a trip back home to Utah for one last visit before the craziness hits! I am so glad we went - it was so nice to be with my family and visit friends. Dresden especially loved being with Grandma and Grandpa and all his Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He asks me every day if we can go to Grandma's house today and play with Mason (cousin). With both of my nephews in baseball we were at games almost every night. Dresden LOVES baseball, it's all he can talk about - he used to hit off the Tee - but now insists on me pitching the ball to him.
It's amazing how much the babies (and I) have grown this last month. At this point my belly is beyond the size I was when I gave birth to Dre - a little scary considering I have at least 4 to 8 weeks to go! On my appointment on Monday both babies are weighing in at 3 lbs. each - which is big for their age in gestation! Yikes, here I thought I was going to have little preemie babies and they could end up being 8 lbs. each! In all seriousness, I am very happy that they are healthy and developing normally - that's all that matters! I will post pics soon! Of course I forgot my camera on the trip, but my sis should be sending me pics soon (right Juls)?

One of my favorite things about the new house is the large tree's in our yard. I have wanted to hang a swing on the tree in our front yard since we moved in, and this weekend was a perfect time since Grandpa Larry was here to help. Dresden LOVES it and cannot get enough of the swing. He gets going pretty high (higher than the swings at any park) but he still asks to be pushed "higher into the sky". As always, his trustee side kick "Freddy Dog" is with him for the ride.
We were so excited to have Chad's parents come and stay with us for the first time since we've been in Texas. Dresden loved hanging out with his Grandma and Grandpa and as usual he was SO spoiled! I couldn't pass up the chance to take another trip out to show them the Blue Bonnetts. We also took them to some of our favorite restaurants, watched Chad play in a soccer tournament, and Irene and I shopped while Larry made some great additions to our house (Thanks Grandpa Larry)!

Okay, I haven't done pictures lately or talked about the twins so here is for all those asking...
I am one week into my sixth month and I feel like I should be starting my eighth month! I am feeling great for the most part, however, my belly is a lot larger at this point then it was with Dre (obviously) - so I am just wondering how much bigger it's gonna get! I see my OB every other week and I have ultrasounds every 3 weeks, so it makes for almost an appointment every week! Last ultrasound the twins were measuring about 1 lb. 8 oz. each and they have reached the age of viability - meaning if I were to have them now they would most likely survive. I feel them moving around all day and the best way to describe it is just movement everywhere all the time. Little boy will kick down below on the left side, while his sister is doing something I can feel all the way on the top right. The nursery (which I"m standing in) is bare, but not for long! We are picking up the second crib this weekend and hopefully it will start to come together! Of course, we still need to coax Dresden out of his crib - he still prefers the crib over his bunk bed!

When the weekend comes around Dresden wants nothing to do with me and it's all about being with his best buddy -- Dad! These two are like two peas in a pod! Wherever Chad goes his little buddy is right behind him and whatever Chad is doing Dre wants to do it to. Daddy got a new hat, so guess who wanted to wear one too. Above they are playing ball in the back yard and Dresden got out his own vacuum so he could vacuum with Daddy!
Friday night we all stayed in because there were tornado warnings and every station was covering the storm that was rolling into Dallas. We get tornado warnings quite often here, but this one seemed to have more hype and there had already been some tornado's touch down in Fort Worth. Dresden was happily playing outside and all was calm when a dark cloud came over the city and the loud sirens started blarring, notifying everyone of the tornado. Chad and I were watching Dre from inside the house and he was looking around trying to figure out what the sirens were for, then all of the sudden a huge bolt of lightning came out of no where followed by a loud crack of thunder and I have never seen his little legs run so fast! Poor little guy, his heart was racing a hundred miles an hour! We locked the doors and turned out the lights and watched to see what would happen next. The wind picked up and next thing I heard was a loud bang towards the back of the house, then another and another... we watched from the window as HUGE hail started pelting our house! It felt like we were under attack! The hail only lasted for a few minutes and was followed by more rain and lightning/thunder. I made Chad go outside and collect some of the hail that had fallen. You can see from the picture above that the hail was the size of golf balls! Dresden is holding his golf ball in his right hand, and the hail ball in the left! It turns out we only caught the tail end of the storm, it did quite a bit of damage further north - but luckily no one was hurt! Sorry to be overly dramatic about the weather -- I guess I haven't been in too many storms before!

Easter with Dresden was pretty funny this year. He woke up and had fun looking for his Easter basket, which the Easter Bunny left on his top bunk bed. He was excited for the candy and I'm pretty sure that's all he's eaten today! It was record low temperature in Dallas today (only in the 40's this morning) so we saved the Easter egg hunt until after church so it would be a little warmer for him. The eggs were scattered all around the back yard and he gathered about 5 and then dropped the basket and ran to ride his trike. I told him we had to finish picking up the eggs and apparently he thought of it as more of a "chore" than something that was fun. He gave me an annoyed look and got off his trike, as he picked up the eggs he started to sing the "clean up" song. In his head he was probably thinking "thanks a lot Easter Bunny for coming and leaving me all these eggs to clean up"!

Texas Blue Bonnetts!
You are not a true "Texan" until you experience the Texas Blue Bonnetts (not that I claim to be a Texan - but still...) Dresden and I went today with some friends and they truly are worth the 40 min. drive! They say because of all the rain the blue bonnetts are better this year, it is pretty amazing to look out over the fields and see these beautiful blue flowers Everywhere! Dresden had a lot of fun this year, he ran all over and loved falling down in them. He would run up to me and say "that was fun, huh"!
