OBSESSED!

Dresden's latest obsession is STAR WARS! Chad took him to see the new animated film and it is literally ALL he talks about and wants to play! It doesn't help that McDonald's has Star Wars toys in the Happy Meals right now. He loves to collect things and tends to get into whatever toy McDonald's has in the Happy Meals. So he asks about a hundred times a day when we can go get a toy a McD's (he doesn't really like the food) - so if any of ya'll have extra Star Wars Happy Meal toys send them our way because he won't stop till he gets them all!

RUMOR HAS IT . . .

This is our new neighbor, Jessica Simpson. If true, she lives literally one block over and is in our same neighborhood. I drive by the house multiple times a day and have noticed a lot of work being done, but have never thought twice about who lives there. Well, my photographer/friend told me the other day that her neighbor is the contractor who has been doing all the work and he claims it is Jessica's house. Who knows?? I'm sure I'll look a little harder each time I drive or walk by!

WE'RE BACK!!

Ciena and Coen loved Grandma and Grandpa's Pool

Dre & Grandma night swimming! Enjoying a little dip right before bed

Cousins! Dresden and the twins with Connie's three adorable girls

WOW! After a month long adventure in Utah we are finally back! We started our trip visiting my parents in St. George where we stayed for the first two weeks. My sister Connie and her girls came down to visit and Dresden loved having his cousins there to play with. There was lots of time to relax and to get over the pink eye that we ALL came down with! Yuck!

I could not have made it out to Utah without my good friend Sarah! She was sweet enough to help me with the kids on the plane (Ciena prefers her over me) and when we landed in Las Vegas she drove with us to St. George. Luckily everything went smoothly, the kids behaved well and given the circumstances it could not have gone better. Sarah stayed in a super nice suite at the Palazzo in Vegas and invited me down - I couldn't resist the idea of a girls trip (no matter how mini) so I left the kids with my parents in St. George and was there in a flash! Of course we did all the fun Vegas attractions - eating, shopping, and seeing the sites. Such a fun time, thanks again Sarah!

Once Chad was done with his finals he joined us in Salt Lake City for the last 10 days of the trip. While in Salt Lake we did lots of fun things with the kids - Liberty Land, the Children's Museum, the slides at Park City, and of course spent lots of time with family and friends.

We ended the trip in Lake Powell with Chad's family. Lake Powell is one of our favorite vacations -- SO beautiful and relaxing, especially since we left the twins at home with my Mom and Dad! Dresden loved playing with his cousins on the beach, finding Sea Shells, swimming, and tubing.
