Crazy for Corn!

I love this picture! The kid seriously attacks corn when it is placed in front of him!

Pumpkin Patch at the Arborretum

On Saturday we went to the Arborretum, which is a beautiful place in itself. For Halloween they had a pumpkin patch (with a house made out of pumpkins), a petting zoo, hay rides, and lots of fun characters roaming around! Posted by Picasa

Dresden turned 2!

Happy Birthday to my sweet little boy! For Dresden's birthday was had a "Pumpkin Patch Birthday Bash" at his favorite park! Everything was "pumpkin" themed and after two days of non-stop rain the weather was beautiful and everyone had a great time! Chad was able to stop by on his lunch break and I was happy that my mom was in town to share the day with us! I'm not sure Dre really knew what was going on - he was just happy to be playing at the park with Grandma and all of his favorite friends! Posted by Picasa

Decorating Sugar Cookies and Pumpkins!

Everyone got their own sugar cookie and pumpkin to decorate. I wasn't sure how this would go over with two year olds, but they all had fun and seemed to like it! As you can see, Dresden was more interested in eating the frosting than decorating with it! Posted by Picasa

Rides at the Fair

Dresden LOVED all the rides at the fair - it was like a two- year- old's heaven! They had all of his favorite things to ride on: a train, truck, boat, fire engine! He was so big and went on all of the rides by himself. He would just find a little friend, climb in, and off they would go! Posted by Picasa

They had the cutest little light parade at the Fair! The floats were all so fun and Dresden especially loved the horses and animals in the parade! Posted by Picasa
TEXAS STATE FAIR

Anyone from Texas knows that the State Fair is a big deal. My mom and I decided to go for a couple of hours last night and we had so much fun! Posted by Picasa
Little Fireman

This is not Dresden's Halloween costume, but I had to get a picture! My sister sent this costume with my mom thinking it would fit Dresden this year and as you can see it is WAY big! We have the pants and sleeves rolled up and he could barely walk in it! It is way cute though, so maybe next year!! Posted by Picasa

We LOVE Visitors!

My sister Connie and her husband Doug came to Dallas to visit this last weekend (with 3 mo. old baby Keely)! It was so much fun having them here! Breylan and Avery stayed home with Grandma, while Connie and Doug had some time without all the kids to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary. Doug let Connie choose where they would spend their anniversary and she said she wanted to come to Dallas to visit us! What a great sister, I'm sure he had the beach in mind and he'll think twice before letting her choose again! Oh well, I think they still had a good time! The guys (Chad, Doug, and Dresden) golfed a lot, and the girls went shopping! I loved being able to spend time with Keely, I can't believe how chubby she's gotten since I last saw her! Dresden was sweet as can be with Keely and loved giving her kisses and holding her hand. Mom's coming next week, and then Chad's sister Jonelle, and we are open the week after that... any takers?? Julie, I think you're next! Posted by Picasa
