I was so excited when my friend, Jen, invited me to go with her and two of our other friends to the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill Concert! It was such a fun night!! Jen's husband was nice enough to give us these great tickets (box seats)! I left the concert even more a Fan of Faith and Tim than I was before! We had the best time, thanks again Jen!! Posted by Picasa

BUBBLE BASH! Dresden and I went to the Children's Museum where they were featuring the BUBBLE BASH! Dresden was in Bubble Heaven! They had a whole room filled with different colored bubbles and all kinds of bubble wands. Dre did not hesitate to dip right in! We left soaked in bubble suds and somehow a piece of Dresden't hair got dyed blue??

One of Dresden's favorite things to do is go to the Driving range with Daddy. He gets his little bucket of balls and just starts wacking away, it's the cutest thing!

He knows just where to place the ball! A mini Tiger Woods in the making!

Check out the form! Eye on the ball, hips squared, weight on back foot...

way to go Dre!

Just minutes away from us in Downtown Dallas is the Dallas World Aquarium. As you can see it is more than just an aquarium - it is more like an indoor tropical Zoo complete with birds, monkeys, and all sorts of wild things. I must say we were quite impressed! Dresden especially liked the monkeys, sharks, stingrays, and blue frogs!

This is such a classic Dresden picture...

He's got his three favorite things: milk, blanket, and his Freddy dog and he's looking happy as can be!

Okay, so I need some opinions on what to do about my upcoming High School Reunion...
It is coming up in August and I will actually be in town for it, well - sort of. We will be in Lake Powell with Chad's family and I could make the reunion if I came back from Powell a day early. My big question is will it be worth it? I love Lake Powell, but I 'm afraid I'd regret it if didn't go to the reunion. Has anyone else gone to their 10 yr. reunion and was it worth it? I was actually set on NOT going until an old High School friend just moved into our ward and after talking with him I pulled out my year book and the memories started to flow. The people that really mattered the most to me I still keep in contact with, but there are always those randoms that cross my mind every now and then who I'm totally curious about. Any thoughts??

Happy 4th of July! It was a pretty typical 4th of July celebration - starting with a parade in the morning, followed by the activities at the park. Dresden liked the parade, although I think he was more interested in the dogs sitting next to us! After our afternoon nap we had friends over for a barbecue and despite the fact that it was pouring rain we were still able to see a great fireworks show at a country club down the street from us.

Our trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas! Who knew I would ever be vacationing in Arkansas! Well, it is just a few hours drive and we were lucky to get an invite from our friends to come stay with them in a condo on this beautiful lake! It was a great time, we went swimming, boating, kayaking, biking, hiking, and we toured the old city and the hot springs. Dresden had a blast and it was overall just a really fun family vacation!
